Catherine Turton - "CT"
Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVS

I qualified in 1987 from Edinburgh university and went straight into general practice in a busy small animal surgery with lots of clinical freedom/opportunity to rapidly develop my surgical skills in all areas including routine, emergency and orthopaedic surgery.

I then went on to spend a number of years in Mixed and Equine/Small animal practices to broaden my horizons before finally devoting my time exclusively to small animal practice.

My interests still retain a surgical bias as I find solving problems surgically where appropriate, the most rewarding part of the job. I also still have a huge interest in Feline medicine and spent much of my time on the Isle of Wight treating large numbers of cats prior to rehoming for the Cats Protection League.

Gina Lupu
Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVS

I qualified in 2009 in Romania from University Ion Ionescu, Iasi.

Jo Hobbs

Jo Hobbs RVN has recently returned from working in Jersey, Channel Islands and joins us with 23yrs of nursing experience in both small and large animal practice. She spent the last 3yrs as course manager & lecture in veterinary nursing, whilst also teaching on all levels of animal management courses where she achieved her L5 Diploma in Education.

She is also a partner in S&J Veterinary Nursing Revision, which provides student nurses with bespoke 1:1 training for both written and practical exams.

In her spare time she enjoys trying to keep fit by going to the gym and walking her Jack Russell Terrier “Storm”.
